Hidden Gems: Meet Amoré Michelle of Glamoré Company

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amoré Michelle.

Hi Amoré, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
On January 27, 2021, I was on my way to work on a very rainy day. I was traveling on interstate 285 in early morning rush hour traffic when my car hydroplaned and almost went off the bridge near the spaghetti junction. I was taken to Grady Trauma Center to be evaluated and treated. Due to my injuries, I had to take off from work. I ended up being fired from my job shortly after my return. I just got to a point in my life where I was tired of being disposable to these companies no matter how much time you put into them. I also was tired of not truly being paid my worth.

After losing my job, I began to feel depressed and not sure of my purpose in life. My best friend Frenchelle of 23 years has always been my biggest cheerleader and supporter. One day she asked me, “When are you going to start your own business? When are you going to start your brand?” I began to remember that I have a love for fashion and I’m often complimented on the way that I dress. I also have a love and passion to uplift and inspire other women and help them discover their purpose.

I began doing my research on how to start an online boutique and searched for different wholesalers. It was a challenge at first and I’m still learning about the fashion business, even today. After trial and error, I finally launched my online boutique on my birthday June 1, 2021. Everyone can follow my brand @glamore.company

I am so overjoyed that I took the leap of faith and started my own business. I also have a second business called Pretty With Purpose. @Pretty_with_purpose_llc is to help women around the world discover their purpose because beauty is NOT only skin deep! Being beautiful and pretty truly is what lies in the depths of your soul! You can be beautiful on the outside but if your internal is not the same as your external, it will be the internal that outshines the external. Ladies do you know what your purpose on this earth is? When you discover what your passion is, your gifts, talents and abilities, you’ll then discover your purpose. Pretty With Purpose says don’t be the pretty girl with no purpose. Be bold! Be beautiful! Be pretty with purpose!

I am grateful that I have finally found my purpose in life. I remember days that I prayed for God to show me my purpose, and even to this day he’s still revealing more to me. So stay tuned. My mission is to change the world and help others. My story is still unfolding.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
One obstacle has been finding the best wholesalers to match my vision for my brand. As my brand grows, I’d like to partner with some fashion designers to collaborate on my vision for my brand. I have so many amazing ideas in mind.
