Today we’d like to introduce you to Nikki Nickerson.
Hi Nikki, we’d love for you to start by telling us how you came to be involved in aura photography.
My first experience having my aura read happened about 20 years ago, I was working at a domestic violence center in Orlando, Florida. One of my co-workers was going to get her aura photographed and invited me to tag along. When my aura was photographed, I felt like what I saw in the photo didn’t belong to me and I said so. I started to ask a few questions and I learned that a person could pick up another person’s energy. That was my first experience learning about energy transference and realizing that I was extremely sensitive to other people’s energy. The people at the store had me go home and shower and not have any contact with anyone else and come back and we rephotographed my aura. It was completely different and I knew that it belonged to me! That experience was life-changing and began a journey into the metaphysical world.
Many years later, I was in Atlanta and walked into a metaphysical shop, excited that they had aura photography being offered. I walked in and it was the same lady from Orlando! She photographed my aura and I was amazed at how it had evolved since the last time – it had been 20 years after all! Again, the experience was extremely impactful and I thought about it for a long time afterward.
A couple of years after that, I had my first live energy reading. I was shocked to find that the aura photography equipment had evolved and that now, in addition to seeing a static photo of your aura, you could see your aura and your chakras in real-time! I was so excited to have my session! I sat down in the middle of a store for my reading and watched my energy and chakras react as people walked past me. It was such an informative experience. When I left, I knew I wanted as many people as possible to be able to see their energy and understand how it worked and thus the seeds for BeYOUtiful Soul Aura Photography were planted.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It has been a struggle to get the word out and let people know that we’re here! What we do is so unique from most metaphysical offerings. It is a chance to SEE the unseen and that is very difficult to communicate. It really is one of those things you need to experience to fully comprehend. We do our best to share the experience with new people by sharing videos of sessions and client testimonials.
As you know, we’re big fans of BeYOUtiful Soul Aura Photography. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
BeYOUtiful Soul Aura Photography was created to give more people the opportunity to SEE themselves. In today’s world of filters and edited photos, we are so concerned with outward appearances. However, it’s the spiritual being that we should be concerned with. Aura Photography in general and Live Energy Readings in particular really offer a person a chance to SEE their energy in real-time and to get a better understanding of what – until now – has been considered intangible.
Aura photography uses a sensor that reads bioenergy. When you place your hand on the sensor, your bioenergy is interpreted in real-time. In a live energy session, we go through a number of topics, meditations, breathing exercises, music and watch how your energy is impacted by each. Seeing your chakras dance to your favorite song or shut down when you say an untruth is really eye-opening.
Live energy sessions include energy clearing (so that we are looking at YOUR energy), a one-on-one discussion on topics of your choosing, a screen recording of your session, an aura photo, and a 14-page energy report. Aura photography sessions include energy clearing and a static digital photograph of your aura.
We are proud to help people SEE themselves and various situations more clearly. We offer aura education and aura hygiene tips in our workshops and online. The goal really is to get people to see their energy as a tangible thing that greatly impacts their daily life. We offer appointments in our Johns Creek location. Additionally, we provide on-location services for private events and retreats both nationally and internationally. We partner with many holistic practitioners to assist them by demonstrating to their clients and potential clients the efficacy of the treatments they offer. We also have a line of aura hygiene products coming this fall!

I love the diversity of Atlanta. I love the metaphysical community here. I hate the traffic.
