Today we’d like to introduce you to Laron Williams.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’m from Albany, GA I’m 24 years old! I moved to Atlanta in the summer of 2019 with no money and eviction on my credit. I moved in with my aunt. I had one month to find somewhere to stay and a place to work and do my personal training. I knew everything was a long shot, but I’m a risk-taker. It was a do-or-die type of situation for me knowing I had a newborn son. I had to be great for my son, so in that one-month span I was able to find a place to train at temporarily. I had a few clients, nothing much, but I still couldn’t find a place to stay because of the eviction on my credit and I only had one month to do so or I was going back to Albany. During the last two weeks, I had to find a place to stay one night, I stayed up to 3 am trying to create a new online program because I wasn’t getting that many clients in person.
I asked myself, who do everybody ask me for? “Flat stomach and booty transformation,” so I said, let me make a flat stomach and booty plan, but I said everybody has a 30-day plan. Let me be different and start a 14-day plan nobody else is doing it at a short amount of time. I created the plan. I found a girl I have seen she didn’t need much work, just a Lil bit I said, look I want you to do my plan I’m not going to charge you, I just want you to get the results, she sent me the results I’m like ohhhh… I’m finna take off now, my life about to change! So I posted the results and it went crazy! I went from making $1k in two weeks when I first moved there to 4K the last two weeks! So I saved up that 4K because I’m still looking for a place to stay. The transformation brought so much buzz to social media, one night, I got a message for someone wanting personal training one on one but couldn’t afford my price. I looked at her page. I responded and say hey, are you a manager of an apartment I see it in your bio. She said yes. I said wow I’m looking for an apartment I told her my situation, and she said we can work some out, so I trained her for free and she help me get the eviction off my credit and also gave me a great deal on the apartment. That was a major blessing to me!
My life was starting to change, so in Jan 2020, I met a trainer name the body plug, we talked about helping her build her online brand since I was already booming online, and then we decided to actually do business together and train together at her gym she was already a gym owner and I needed a place to train to expand my brand since I was only doing online. Literally, my first-month training COVID came and changed the game for me for the better actually because people went from saying “I would never drive to Fayetteville” to “Omg you the only trainer available during covid I need to work out” Fayetteville did not shut us down like other cities. So I was able to get my first 15 clients that month! And every month I added 20-50 more clients, then around my birthday on May 6, I bought my first house! I start making a name for myself around Atlanta being the 14-day transformation guy!
I want to say around June or July me and the body plug separated, she got her a new gym and I kept her old gym, which was newly owned by being so in less than a full year, I owned my first gym being in Atlanta after moving her with no many and an eviction. September was a game-changing month for me. That’s when I changed my social media name to Dr.14days had the world like who is he??? How is he transforming people in 14 days? In September, my first time ever, I had 200+ clients!! It was amazing, let’s fast forward to Jan 2021; I opened my second gym, which combined is total of 10k square foot and now I hired trainers. I got eight suites in my gym, so I have a body sculpture in my gym as well. Fast forward to February I was in my car and at the time, I was just buying cars because I love them and have a passion for it, but I wanted to do something different than just let cars sit, so the end of March I decided add my cars on Turo and that was a game-changer for me! I went from 5 cars to 15 cars in two weeks and I bought my second house! Fast forward to now, I’m on car number 29, I brought in seven figures from fitness since 2020, now I’m halfway 6 figure with Turo, I’m a mentor, marketer, credit repair etc. I own five businesses. 1 7 figures and the rest headed to 6 figures each. I trained over a total 2,000+ people since I been in Atlanta. I have over 120 trips in two months with Turo almost being a super host.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Lost my mom at age 13, evicted out of my apartment at age 21, drop out of high school in 10 grade.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a gym owner, and I offer 14-day results and group training specialists. What sets me apart is I can transform people in 14 days. I do car rentals with Turo. What sets me apart is I have 29 cars and they all are a great experience.
