Meet Jacqueline Parsons

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jacqueline Parsons.

Hi Jacqueline, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers upto speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Growing up as an only child caused me to use my imagination quite often. I was a vibrant little girl raised by my grandparents in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. I had a huge interest in the performance arts from a very early age. I would find myself acting out characters or pretending
I was modeling on a runway fashion show or imagining that I was a beautiful dancer performing in front of the world. This was a dream that
I hoped to one day fulfill.

During my teen to my young adult years, I was able to explore my talent abilities and achieve few exciting accomplishments as a dancer. While residing in St.Thomas I’ve done many stage performances, as well as traveling throughout the United States with the USVI Department of Tourism as a hired entertainer. This opportunity allowed me the appearance on The Wendy Williams Show,several news tv networks, and during the Spurs vs Miami Heat Halftime Performance in 2014.

In 2006, I obtained my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Film from the Miami International University of Art & Design. I’ve worked on few minor film and video projects, along with working part-time at one of the local tv stations in St. Thomas.

Still striving to accomplish much more in life; I relocated to Georgia in 2016. Being determined to conquer those dreams that I dreamt as a
little girl, I’m now focused on my mission and is actively working towards the life I desire.

Since the end of 2019, I’ve been investing in my craft and taking leaps of faith; utilizing the talents and gifts that I’ve been blessed with.
I’m currently working on upcoming modeling projects which includes Atlanta Fashion Week, Miami Swim Week, and Atlanta Beauty Expo.

We all face challenges, but looking back would vou describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Getting to where I am today has not been a smooth journey, unfortunately. Envious and jealous ex-relatives and ex-friends caused me a lot of obstacles that I had to constantly overcome. I’ve had to deal with the lack of support from those that were closest to me. Experiencing so much grief throughout my life has help mold me into the strong person that I am today. I realized that being my own biggest fan is all the support I need.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business What should we know about your work?
At this time, I’ve been working on my self-growth. Doing the things that brings me joy is very important to me; so turning my passions into my career is the goal I’m striving for. In the meanwhile, I’ve been networking and getting involved in the local entertainment community.
I’ve been preparing for upcoming shows, attending casting calls, and working out. I’m really excited to see where this new journey takes me.

I’ve been a content creator since 2020. I’m mostly known for my TikTok comedic reenactment videos.

I’m most proud of my resilience and my ability to not allow negativity get in the way of my goals and success.

My true authenticity is what sets me apart from others. I follow the beat of my own drum. I produce star-quality energy that can not be
imitated.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
The qualities and characteristics that are most important to my success is having lots of patience. My strength and my faith in God has gotten
me through the many trials and tribulations I’ve faced in my life. My ability to alchemize negativity projected towards me and transmute it
into my betterment. My deep spiritual beliefs has helped me tremendously with staying grounded, my mental stability, and healing from emotional trauma. Expressing gratitude daily I also find to be very important in the receiving of blessings and opportunities in my life.
