Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My spiritual journey started back in 2016, even though I have experienced what some may call “paranormal events” a lot as a child. As I grew older, I started to ignore the strangers and eventually, I stopped seeing them as well in my teenage years. I read the Bible here and there, and I was drawn to Proverbs. I could not focus on any other scripture but Proverbs. Now, here is where the excitement began. I am sure we all remember the movie The Craft! After watching the movie several times, I started to wonder if there were some truth behind witchcraft. I had a feeling that witchcraft was not evil and there was more to it.
After doing some research, I found out that the Bible and witchcraft had some common ties. Here is when I realize how powerful my thoughts were. Anything I wanted to happen happened. If I was thinking something, it happened, or I already knew the answer or what would happen. Did it freak me out, no, but as a teenager, I didn’t take it seriously and as time went on it was something else added to my journal. Fast forward to 2016, I was introduced to Dr. Sebi and this led me to start researching my roots. African spirituality, herbs, etc. The more I researched hoodoo the more I realize I was going in the right direction. Because I knew what I was capable of doing as a teenager and the things I saw as a young child, everything made sense to me. My grandmother was the first to confirm it was okay and that I should keep going. Her confirmation is how Empress K Wellness started.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Majority of my clients are not on social media. They are older and don’t do technology LOL. Which can be challenging sometimes when it comes to order statuses, but I love them and I love what I do so it all works out. For my online customers, I try to get those orders out as quickly as I possibly can, but that isn’t always the case due to large orders. If it wasn’t for my fiancé, I don’t know what I would do. He is always a great help when it comes to helping.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I specialize in crafting hoodoo products that help assist with whatever it is that one desires and or trying to manifest. Everything is made in small batches which in my opinion, is what makes my products so potent and powerful. I am always available if a customer has any questions or concerns about their order. Even if it’s weeks or months away. Many times people are confused or do not understand what they have ordered. My top-selling oil is Pussy Power. My top-selling Spell Candle is the Pussy Power Candle and Universe Money Candle, followed by my Seduction hand and body lotion and Dragon Blood Spray. When it comes to my products, I can be “extra!” I put my heart and soul into each product. My uniqueness comes from deep within. When I am working, I am never working alone. My ancestors are always helping.
What matters most to you? Why?
I am a natural helper. I want to see more people happy and healing within. I want to encourage and show those individuals what it takes to get there. We are all here together. We do not win as one. We win together.
