Hi Shara, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Oh gosh. Simply Made From Shai was always a back burner in my mind. Being a single mom, I honestly never felt I had the time to buckle down and focus on anything. After spending less than a year being homeless in 2019 and then losing a child and damn near my life, I needed something to keep me from feeling empty. I don’t necessarily want to call it a “passion project,” it’s more of a passion business. July 2020, I literally grabbed a pen and paper and got two work. I took my melting pot of knowledge and experiences alongside some research and went at it. Three days later, I had a business.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
I don’t think anything in life will ever be as smooth as we want them to be. I’ve had my days where I was ready to throw in the towel due to overload and I’ve had days where everything that could go right did. The key is to keep pushing no matter what. It’s my first year of business, it’s expected, honestly.

I’m the owner of Simply Made From Shai LLC. I sell natural bath and hair products. I’m most known for my infused Dead Sea Spiritual baths (I sell uninfused as well). My goal when I created the baths was to bring the “art of decompression” back into bath time while offering products that were good for skin and as natural as possible. The thing that sets me apart of from anyone else can’t be put any other way but “I’m Me.” As a person, I’ve always aimed to be a level past different no matter what I’m doing. It wouldn’t be me if I didn’t bring the same flare to my business.
What makes you happy?
My kids, first and foremost. My kids are the fuel to my strive for success. Without them and knowing that’s who I’m doing it for, none of this would even be happening right now.
