Meet Evonya Easley of Love E Fashion

Today we’d like to introduce you to Evonya Easley.

Evonya, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My love for clothes, fabrics, shoes and all things Style & Fashion started when I was 15. I loved putting outfits together for myself, family and friends. At the time I never thought I could make my passion my career. Fast forward, I went to college majored in Political Science and then a Masters in Finance. I started working traditional jobs, always doing what I loved which was styling and shopping on nights and weekends. Between 2006-2010, it finally seemed like it might be a possibility to make my dream a reality. I networked and started to get invovled with the fashion community in Atlanta. I was able to intern with Mychael Knight while he was on Project Runway, and other stylists, designers and photographers. Building relationships all over the city, I was afforded an opportunity to start working & styling anchors for Fox 5, CBS, & 11Alive.

From there I met alot of people in the green room working at the stations. Some of those guests and their referrals became my first clients which was fortunate, because I was juggling my day job and working the stations. I ended up getting laid off my day job and those first clients birthed the beginning of my business Love E. I built the business by trial and error, made a lot of mistakes, had a lot of struggle, but made it thru. Those first few years were hard, but I had a lot of faith and the support of my family and friends. I continued to learn, build my network and grow my clientele. As the business grew, I have been able to service hundreds of clients, expand my team and travel the world.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It was very hard starting a business in the recession, not getting a paycheck every two weeks or not knowing when the next client would book. I had a lot of struggle in the beginning just figuring out how to run a business when I was used to working for someone else. Also running a business on a shoestring budget and figuring everything out along the way. I have always had a lot of faith, been a risk taker and always bet on myself! It was so hard in the beginning I rented out half my house, downgraded my car, cut off my cable, no more hair salon visits or self care. But every year, it would get better and every time I contemplated giving up, a client would call and book or refer me a new client. So I kept going and life got better! I still have struggles in business as any entrepreneur does, just different than the ones I had when I first started. In the beginning, it was the struggle of figuring it out and how to survive, now its handling the growth and expansion!

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Love E Fashion – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Love E Fashion helps busy professionals, reflect their best selves to the world. We do this by personal styling, image consulting and personal shopping. We have a team of stylists to help our clients achieve personal style that reflects who they are to the world, in their personal & professional lives. We are known to help our clients not only look professional, but with style injecting their personality into their wardrobe. Professionalism doesn’t have to be boring, its all how you style it! I am most proud to give my clientele excellent service, make every client feel like they are the only ones, prompt responses to my client style needs.

I think what sets me and my company apart, aside of treating everyone like the VIP they are, is being relatable to all of my clients needs. Being able to connect with them on different levels, making sure they feel heard and listening to their concerns about style and otherwise, because dressing someone is to know their vulnerabilities and them being able to be comfortable enough to share them. I’m happy that I make them feel they can share their confidences with me and trust me with their style, professional & personal lives. I have styled them for all occasions in their lives for work, play, vacation, divorces, weddings etc. I am proud to play a part in their lives, they are making memories in pieces I have chosen for them!

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We just launched a mobile app Styled by Love E where clients can order a personal stylist to come and help them with their current wardrobe or go and shop for them! The client will do a virtual style consult thru the app, the stylist will then go shop & bring 6-10 options for the client, do a style fitting all while giving them expert style advice. Like Uber, but for fashion! I created the app to make personal style accessible to the masses and on demand. Personal stylists have always been known to be for celebrities and high net worth individuals, with Styled by Love E everyone can afford to have a live personal stylist, not virtual.

To give clients a very personal experience that can’t always to be achieved virtually. Ensuring clients reflect their best personal style & have fashion at their fingertips! Clothes shopping can be frustrating and time consuming and we want to be able to help users have access to expert style at a fraction of the cost. You can download the app at www.loveefashion.com/styledbylovee its available in both IOS & Android in the Atlanta area.

Pricing:

  • Our style app is normally $150.00 and right now for a limited time we are offering it at 50% off so only $75.00!
