I have a had a ten-year nursing career but five years ago I want to make extra cash & not have to work as hard, I took a cosmetic teeth whitening course with a vendor because I love to talk, people always said I had a beautiful smile so why not invest into a The whitening business.
I started out doing mobile whitening service in the evening times after my shift at the hospital sometimes I was working until 3am and schedule to be back to work at 7 am, I went from doing mobile to working in someone else salon to opening my own spa two years ago, I went from 0 clients to servicing 700 clients within Atlanta & outside Atlanta, with a host of celebrities clients. I became a certified instructor with the same vendor I trained with to offer cosmetic whitening class on a local level.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
This road has not been smooth at all, I’m not from Atlanta, I have never owned a business before this so I had to gain peoples trust when it came to the business and bringing awareness about the service I provide.
One of my biggest things was I needed to stay consist, went over and beyond for my clients whether it was to come at 6 am or staying till 10 pm, whatever it took to make me & the business become successful & make sure my clients was satisfied.

The spa offers cosmetic whitening, eyelash extensions, facials, makeup and more.

I’m most proud moment of my accomplishments. I have been in business for five years, with some great but loyal clients & showing others that if you want it bad enough it will come but success doesn’t happen overnight.
I think what set glam smile whitening apart from others is that I decided to open my spa in southwest Atlanta but you get that up north/ city upscale feel when you enter.
My ultimate goal was to make my customers/clients comfortable in there own backyard with getting That upscale feel you get when you go Get service on the north side of town.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I am planning to traveling overseas to open my own manufactory for my own teeth whitening products to sale as a local distributor.
