Meet Kiera Scott of The K.Nicole Collection in Metro Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kiera Scott.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
The idea of The K.Nicole Collection originated in 2017. On the phone with a close friend, and the conversation goes on about me starting a business but with something that describes me best. That’s where I got the idea for accessories and apparel. From then, I gained sources and connections to establish my business.

Here we are 2019! I made my business legit and created my LC. Now, my business is booming!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Starting a business, it’s definitely a bumpy road. When I first started, I invested my own money into everything. Sacrifices are most definitely made. That’s where my most of my struggles came from. Investing my own money. Finding vendors, being able to afford everything for my business and my personal life.

The K.Nicole Collection LC. consists of fun, flashy, fly apparel & accessories!! My collection sells accessories such as sunglasses, backpacks, hats, and purses. Apparel consists of urban wear, quoted, t-shirts, and bathing suits. For my business, I am most proud of the growth. It’s amazing how my sales have grown since I’ve relaunched my business this year.

What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I stood out. I attracted people, like a social butterfly. Life of the party. In school, we wore uniforms, but of course, being me, I always had to wear a colorful shirt over my uniform shirt or add some colorful bangles with shoes to match. Accessories always been a thing to me!
