Meet Christian Andres Duque Tello

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christian Andres Duque Tello.

Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
I was born in Ecuador and moved to the United States at the age of 9. That change my life, and from an early age, I learned to be independent based on the struggles that I had to endure. Growing up, music was a huge part of my life and has always been inside of me. I guess it runs on the family since my mother used to sing and love writing songs.

Please tell us about your art.
I make Latin Trap in a unique way. I’m inspired by the culture here in Atlanta and mixed it with my roots and make my own essence. It has a flow similar to the trap here in the United States but in Spanish as well with a twist of English, which represents who I am. I want to represent myself, my people, and my country. I have a music engineer Lorenzo Lindo from Florida, who works with me on my music. He’s one of the best out there. The reason I make music is to express myself and what I honestly want to get out of my work is to make people enjoy music as much as I do, for them to enjoy something new and feel the music inside them. Is just a fulfilling feeling. In my songs, I always try to have a good message, have different lyrics, and have fun with it.

What do you think about the conditions for artists today? Has life become easier or harder for artists in recent years? What can cities like ours do to encourage and help art and artists thrive?
I feel like artists have new opportunities today than in past generations. I believe the life of an artist in a way it has become harder. There so many more people watching you is like the whole world has an eye on you. Artists are more than just entertainers now, their roll modes and influencers to the new generations more than anything. I think cities like ours support music and should always be open to help the new talent and help create a new movement.

How or where can people see your work? How can people support your work?
People can find my music in all the digital music platforms. As well as in YouTube, all you gotta do is search Dullo G, and you’ll be listing to the new Latin Trap movement. I also share my music through my social media accounts.
