Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Hall.
Brandon, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Started making music in march of this year. I was feeling more and more lost by the day. Dealing with different things and sometimes dealing with nothing I would still feel like crap. My favorite artist had just passed away. I know he is what keeps me going. I know kids need me. So, I turned to music to help cure my depression and help me rid myself of these pent up emotions that I always have. My mood shifts in seconds and I can’t control it. So, that’s why my music is what I consider genre-less.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It’s been tough to pay off loans and bills while also paying for studio time and beats but I make it work. You have to stay on top of your music and drop often, so it’s hard to find the time to make and produce these songs. Also, my family is very religious, so if they heard my music, they would disown me more than it feels like they already have.
Please tell us more about what you do, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I make music and I specialize in any genre of music. I haven’t mastered the country but one day I will. I’m known for more depressive music but can also produce the typical ride-along with getting hype type song. My artist name is Sosbrand on by the way.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I’m looking forward to having a tight-knit fanbase. I want my fans to know everything about me and hang out with me. I want to be in the studio with big names such as pnb rock and Kanye West. I will not change as a person.
