Today we’d like to introduce you to Dee Bell and Tina Fynn.
Dee and Tina, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Tina and I met as students during our interior design program. We were both transitioning from corporate careers. Our friendship, complimentary design styles and respect for each other’s professional skill set all led to the creation of BellaFynn Design Studio. We both loved design and through conversations, knew that our personalities and work ethic would mesh well.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has been a relatively smooth road. One of our challenges is managing our client’s expectations. We love the interior design shows on TV and the posts on social media, but a client isn’t always aware of how those beautiful spaces come to life. Particularly when we have a new client that has not worked with a designer before. Walking them through the process before hand and explaining in detail what they can expect goes a long way in making the process enjoyable for everyone.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the BellaFynn Design Studio story. Tell us more about the business.
Our firm specializes in residential and small scale commercial design. Our full service, redesign, and virtual design packages are perfect for clients that are looking to upgrade their own space. While our Turn Key Rental program targets those looking to create a comfortable, luxurious, short term rental experience for their guests. We also partner with homeowners and realtors to help their properties stand out with our home staging service.
We are most proud of our collaborative approach to working with clients. This ensures that the space is personalized, a reflection of who they are, and most importantly feels like home.
