Today we’d like to introduce you to Patrick Hart.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I have always been interested in opening and running a company of my own. So in July 2016, I met with a Franchise consultant to discuss and review the different business types and expectations. After reviewing a number of franchise opportunities, I decided to invest into a business concept in the Signs and Graphics sector. I attended a number of webinars on the business, operations, expectations and requirements and also had opportunities to ask current owners questions as well. I also attended an open day at a training center in California where I learnt a lot more of the business at which time I made the decision to buy into the business. After 2 weeks of training – operations and business knowledge, I opened my location in Marietta.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Not really. It’s been a mixture of bitter/sweet excitement and some frustrations. Some of the struggles were: Finding a suitable location and signing the lease agreement, getting the required build-out (construction) completed on time, lining up vendors, trying to find suitable networking organizations and of course the act of balancing all the business aspects and learning about the business as customer requirements and expectations changes almost as technology does.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Bethel Signs & Graphics – what should we know?
We are a full-service sign company, located in Marietta GA, specializing in custom solutions for exterior and interior signs (lighted and unlit), vehicle wraps, walls and window graphics, trade show displays, architectural signs and large format high resolution digital graphics.

My family have been supportive throughout the process. My wife Alvita Hart has been there both for moral and operational support.
