It has not been a smooth road at all. Hearing the word “NO” has been the biggest struggle of them all and still is. Which is why I created a podcast called “Celebrate Hearing NO” which is available on iHeart Radio, iTunes, Google Play and Spotify. It has also been featured on 107.5 WBLS, HOT 107.9, Streetz 103.3, and xoNecole.
Podcast Synopsis:
Been told NO before? Don’t let it prevent you from realizing you can be great, as a matter of fact, exceptional. Learn how to turn that strong word that people often get intimidated by into a YES!
Miss PhaShunta’s 12 part podcast series, ” Celebrate Hearing No”, will motivate and inspire you to embrace “no” and turn it into a “YES!”
“Celebrate Hearing No” features Miss PhaShunta interviewing celebrities, entrepreneurs, and movers and shakers from across the world as they share their stories.
We’d love to hear more about your business.
My business/company Missphashunta.com basically started off as my own little resume so that I could land a media job. It was hard for me to get experience to learn about this field so I could even create a resume. So, I decided to stop waiting for an opportunity and created my own (so I created my own media brand). I am most proud of being able to teach people what I’ve been able to teach myself. I am most known for my entrepreneur spirit and interviews. Knowing that people are inspired by me is what I’m most proud of along with all of the things I’ve been able to accomplish so far. I have so much more work to do but I’m totally not where I was since I started my brand in 2013. What sets me apart from others is that I don’t withhold information… it’s not my thing, I like to help people any way I can… if I can but, I never teach what I don’t know. Along with my creativity, positive content and determination.
What were you like growing up?
I was a girlie girl who enjoyed doing girlie things. I really loved to model, act, sing and just be in front of the camera. I also loved all things beauty from nails to hair (I am also a licensed cosmetologist). I totally loved being in the spotlight but making people happy meant a lot to me, it made me feel good. I always believed in being nice to people no matter what so as I grew older, I wanted my content to reflect that so anything I create is positive.
