Meet Mario Wright of WRIGHT WAY EVENTS in Cobb County

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mario Wright.

Mario, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started out working for the Marriott back in 2013 in the events department. I was setting up the ballrooms and other venue space for events to seat anywhere from 50 to thousands of people for weddings, birthday parties, etc. This gave me the experience that I needed to start working outside of the Marriott with vendors and different event venues. I decided that this was something that I enjoyed doing and started Wright Way Events. Over the course of the last few years, I have had the chance to work with many clients and it has been extremely fun and fulfilling to do so.

Has it been a smooth road?
Yes, it has been smooth with certain clients and others no. The reason for that is because of budget. Clients have different expectations and some extend pass the budget of the client. The pitfall to that is they can’t always afford the luxurious event they were planning. This then creates a challenge for me, because I want to assist them but sometimes, I can’t because we can’t give everything away for free or at a lower cost. This doesn’t make sense in a good business model if it isn’t profitable to the business and/or vendors that I’m working with.

Wright Way Events is a small Events Company located in Marietta, Ga. We have been around for 2 years and are striving to serve as many clients as we can. We specialize in Events (Weddings, Birthday Parties, and Anniversary Parties). It’s Your Event the (W)right Way!!! We can assist with Venue Set Up, Decor, Food Service, Serving or anything you may be needed for the event planning and coordinating. We are most proud of our Customer Service and the love that we provide to each client to customize the event to fit their needs. The thing that sets us apart is our Passion, Drive, and Understanding of Events. We meet needs and we do it for a reasonable price.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I like that the city is full of opportunity and the ability to grow. There are so many people here winning and willing to help each other along the way.

My dislikes are sometimes it can be a dog eat dog world, it’s all about navigating through it.
