Meet Brittany Taylor of iTech Teach You

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany Taylor.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Brittany. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I got started with my company in November 2017. While I was working at a bank I became the top banker in mobile application services. Meaning I signed the most people up for the product. In that position I came across a great deal of senior citizens who were unaware of how to work their smartphones. As I downloaded the banking application for them they became very appreciative and inquired my help for various other task with their phones. My manager and coworkers noticed how efficient and patient I was with helping the seniors and suggested that I conduct workshops to help them.

It was later confirmed through God in a series of three nightly visions that this is my purpose and God would provide. I was fortunate to leave the bank last year and pursue my business full time. God has provided. My schedule consists of workshops and one on one consultations Monday through Friday. I have various contracts around my city, training in all things technology for seniors. Today I can say obeying God to fulfill his promises in my life is the only reason I am where I am today.

Has it been a smooth road?
With any business you will have hurdles that you will have to overcome. My biggest struggle in the business is duplicating myself. I need to find people who have a heart for senior citizens and have a high level of patience. Also, some of the facilities I train at are nonprofits so payment is sometimes not available. So finding help is definitely a big struggle of my business.

iTech Teach You is a business devoted to making technology work for you! We train senior citizens how to work their smartphones, laptops, desktops, iPads, tablets and any technology they might need help with. We are mainly known for smartphone workshops around the city. As a company, I am most proud when my seniors learn a new skill with their device and actually implement it in their life. I taught a student how to use a video call application and now he’s able to video chat with his son who lives in Singapore. That brings me joy! One thing that sets iTech Teach You apart is we do home visits and will assist in the home and our prices are reasonable. Also the company itself is unique, not a lot of people have tapped into this million dollar market.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I’m actually not from Georgia, but I did visit once. My sister in law lives in Kennesaw, Georgia. From the time I visited, I liked the diversity and the culture. I’m a big supporter of Creflo Dollar ministries. If I had to choose one thing I disliked, it would definitely be the expressways! Getting from one point to another is a process.
