Today we’d like to introduce you to Shakeera Springs.

Shakeera, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I got started in the kitchen with a few ingredients. I was always inspired to go to spas and detox, physically and spiritually. I love fresh ingredients. I never get that from picking up a bar of soap. I love to indulge in organic plants and herbs. After many family and friends started healing from my products, I decided to give the business a go. It’s been four years since I started the business and it’s growing phenomenally.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Many ups and downs because of changes to the platform, structure changes, rebranding and much more. We are always enhancing the business as we move along the upward spiral. Although the ride hasn’t been smooth the entire time, we never give up.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about So Refreshed – what should we know?
So Refreshed – handmade skincare – online based. We specialize in providing a great acne wash and yoni wash. We make all of our orders fresh with organic ingredients every time. We never deviate from using the best authentic herbs, plants and spices.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
My husband, Comador Springs, has been my biggest cheerleader by far. Whether he’s encouraging me, picking up supplies or rushing to the post office, he’s always been there since Day one.
