Meet Danielle Love of Whereisdlove in Greater Atlanta Area

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Love.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Danielle. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Well, I started off just like anybody else kind of not knowing what I wanted to do, right now I really am enjoying building my brand around myself. As of right now, I’m working towards doing make-up, modeling and building my social media presence via Instagram, YouTube, and brand ambassadorships. Over the years, I discovered that I enjoy modeling. This has evolved into a passion for being both in front of as well as behind the camera. Everyday I strive to hone my skills behind the camera.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road for me. I’m still learning exactly what it is I want to do as well as learning how things really work. It’s been bumpy, but it’s been a great learning process. I learn something new every day and it’s really rewarding to see what works and what doesn’t. Some of the obstacles I’ve encountered, and still encounter to this day are the time management and the consistency portion. I struggle with maintaining a full-time job, a life as a 20 something, and this which acts as a second and third job. Before now, I was working and going to school and that was like having zero free time whatsoever so even though this is my passion and I want it to become my career it’s hard to balance the work-life-passion lifestyle, especially with Instagram and YouTube. My audience wants to see things on the regular basis and it’s really hard to get content out recording videos or getting pictures taken with a busy schedule where some weeks I work seven days and I am tired!

Whereisdlove – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
My business focuses on my brand which is to inspire women who look like me. I specialize in women empowerment and plus-size inclusion by sharing resources, I am also branching out into doing makeup. I was frustrated with the lack of plus-size representation across all platforms so I figured I could be an inspiration to others. For those who don’t think they can do something because of what society says. I am here to prove them wrong and let everyone know that they can do anything they put their minds to. We as plus size women are just like any other person, we are all human. I am most proud to know that my brand actually speaks to people how I wanted it to. I think people can tell I am a genuine person and I believe that is what sets me apart from others.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
I can’t narrow it down to one instance, but I would say my proudest moment thus far is 2019 is a whole. This year I’ve really branched out of my comfort zone. I’ve received a couple of offers for Brand Ambassadorships, I’ve been recognized by huge companies, that I would have never imagined would see my page. It just makes me so happy to see that people are receiving me very well, even though I’m not a huge brand yet. I have received emails from girls saying how I have inspired them and it really touches my heart. I really appreciate the love and support. I am very happy to see that I am making an impact no matter what the size of my brand is.
