Meet Stefanie Hershberger of The B-12 Store in Buford

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stefanie Hershberger.

Stefanie, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I am the oldest of three siblings, born and raised in Georgia girl who has lived in the Atlanta suburbs all my life except for a brief couple of years in New Orleans during my teens. I graduated with a marketing degree and always wanted to go into sports marketing and worked three seasons for the Atlanta Braves.

Then life had its own calling for me when my father suffered a stroke in 2016 which forced him to retire and thrust me into having to take over the family business. This meant that I had to uproot my life and relocate to Pittsburgh, PA which was the most humbling and eye opening experience. In hindsight, I have learned that the feelings of being lost and uncertain during that time were actually an indicator that my life was exactly on the right path. I ended up expanding the family business into another industry which was extremely challenging both personally and professionally. With all of the family business ventures now being completed divested I felt both invigorated by the challenge of forging my own path in business and life.

I have always been passionate about health and wellness. I was that girl that was early trying all the latest healthy trends… from the hottest beauty product. detox teas, essential oils, etc.. This included getting vitamin B-12 injections a couple of years ago and I have never looked back. Now I am the proud owner of The B-12 store in the Mall of Georgia which is a health and wellness company specializing in vitamin injections. We are committed to serving the community and helping our customers live a healthy life!

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has been a tough journey leading to where I am now… moving to new a city and navigating two businesses while being in a long distance relationship was challenging to say the least. Being away from the comfort of my best friends and family was something I never anticipated being so hard until it happened. I had battled through anxiety and had so many thoughts of “why me?”. Yet I truly believed that I was being challenged for a good purpose, even when what that is was not always clear to me. I kept my chin up and just kept working my ass off and ground through those long days and nights. I have learned that you truly learn what you are capable of when you leave your comfort zone. I gained so much courage and now I am a strong confident woman who embraces further challenges that that this roller coaster thing called life will undoubtedly continue to throw at me.

The B-12 Store strives to serve our customers by helping them live their most healthy life! We have our line of nutritional supplements and specialize in vitamin injections for energy, weight loss, anti-aging, workout boosts and detox. We have created a friendly and safe environment where our customers are treated like family. We love to educate our customers on overall nutrition and how our products and services may help them. What makes me most proud is when I get to hear the amazing testimonials of our customers. Having customers tell me how they have lost over 30 pounds and who praise their improved sleep, energy levels, physical looks and how all of that all positively impacts their self-confidence and relationships makes me so proud of what my company and our wonderful staff is doing for the community!

My wonderful husband has been my greatest supporter. He is extremely encouraging and makes me want to be a better person. I’m truly grateful that I have a partner that wants me to achieve my fullest potential and always encourages me to be at my best.
