Meet Trailblazer Julieta Del Toro

Today we’d like to introduce you to Julieta Del Toro.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Julieta. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Hello, my name is Julieta del Toro I am an Editorial Makeup Artist, Esthetician & Licensed Cosmetologist. I am a Beacon winner for Georgia 2017 and my work with a stylist, Lily Gatin, has been published in renowned international magazines. I am a graduate from one of the best cosmetology schools in Mexico, Madeleine Meyer Institute, as well as a graduate from the respected Paul Mitchell School Esani in Roswell, GA.

I was the Head of Makeup for the USA team at the DEPILEX REVEAL 2017 SHOW in Pakistan, where I collaborated in the creation of several of the Avant-Garde looks, as well as taught bridal and skin classes for the DEPILEX team and Institute.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I believe you have to be obsessed with your dream. Stay focused on your goals, bc it is not an easy or fast road. It will take so much dedication and hard work. Build and invest in your relationships. The key to me getting bigger and better jobs are my referrals. You are only as good as your next job. So say yes to every opportunity that is aligned to your goals.

We’d love to hear more about your work.
I am a makeup and hairstylist. My work is versatile, from makeup and hair for weddings to teaching makeup classes abroad, to glamming celebrity clients. I’m known for my speed and skill on set for film or print work. One of my unique talents is my Avante Garde makeup and wig making. Working along the prestigious Lily Gatins and being published in numerous magazines for our collaboration. I’m so proud to work with The Greintime production company, for the southern Real as well being park of Derrick Rutledge DRAFT TEAM (beauty influencers)

Which women have inspired you in your life?
I’m so inspired and grateful for the group of strong, passionate and kind women I have in my life. The biggest one being my mother who migrated to a foreign country with no resources and raised three children on her own. By Dyana Nematalla, my mentor and owner of Sirene Salon. For my beautiful friends who all in their way are working towards achieving their dreams.
