Meet Michael A. McFadden

Today we’d like to introduce you to Michael A. McFadden.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Michael. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Wrote a book in 2009 called “Truisms” as a self published author, I needed a way to promote the book. Created a radio show on Blog Talk Radio which debuted Aug 2009. 400 shows on Blog Talk and nine years of consistency – I opened Power 108.9

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It’s been a smooth ride only because I was able to define my “why” very early, now as with all business, there will be disagreements with partners, clients, etc., that’s the part of the business you are going to have to deal with.

Power 108.9 – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Power 108.9 is an online radio station. We specialize in creating an environment for all of our personalities to grow by providing the knowledge I’ve gained over the past decade on internet radio. Most proud of as a company we just renewed until 2022 to be at The Battery – It’s our proudest because I was nervous making it out of the first month. What separates us from others, it’s never been about the money. It’s about consistency and content for us.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Defining success to me is, are you accomplishing the goals you set in place. One question I constantly ask myself is “would I have fired myself today”? If I can answer NO to that question daily, that’s a success for me.
