Today we’d like to introduce you to Kaili Spear.
Kaili, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
My name is Kaili Spear and I’m Currently 22 years of age. I’m a senior at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga who majors in Communications with a minor in Psychology. I’m bilingual in Italian and English. Born in Vicenza, Italy and my ethnicity is Italian and Black. I lived most of my younger years in Italy around my mom (Nicoletta Marcon) side of the family and eventually moved to Columbus, GA, because my dad (Ronald Spear) was eventually stationed in Fort Benning due to him being in the Army. My creative side definitely comes from my mom’s side of the family. And my ambition and hustle comes from my dad’s side of the family.
My story began late December of 2017 when I first received my first camera, which was a Canon T6 at the time. Took my very first photos of my siblings, Briana and Kristian. I instantly fell in love with the thought of pursuing photography. I never limited myself to one thing when it came to creating. I always created regardless of what artistic aspect I took. Early January of 2018 is when I decided to take it more serious. I eventually came up with my brand, Real Authentic Work. I wanted my name to reflect my work. I feel like it speaks for itself. Its Real Authentic Work and for short it spells out R.A.W. My motto is “Capturing R.A.W. moments on the go.” Most of my pictures were taken outside with natural lighting. I’m all about nature and the environment, the reason why my favorite colors are blue and green. I like to consider myself an entrepreneur and creative. When it comes to creating, I can create just about anything because creativity is unlimited. Everything I do, I make sure there is a meaningful message behind it, or at least it’s authentic and original.
I currently own the rights to my business. I trademarked my business name and logo and also made it into an LLC. I also have invested thousands in my equipment to become a better creator. I currently own a Canon RP and I love my portrait lenses. I have bigger plans to eventually open nonprofit organizations that will better the environment climate-wise, build up certain communities and assist different charities, which will help people in need. I’m an entrepreneur. I plan on owning several businesses, all serving a greater purpose in life. I currently am working on a clothing brand as well but it’s not released yet. My top goal is to create meaningful movies that will have powerful messages behind them.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
My step mom (Errica Spear) influenced me to pursue college and parents wanted me to be a psychologist or psychiatrist because of the possible earnings. But I never cared about the salary or working for someone. So at the end of my sophomore year of college is when I decided to change my major from Psychology to Communications with a minor in Psychology to pursue my dreams of being creative in the film industry.
Some struggles along the way were when I had a partial ACL tear in a car accident late 2017 and had a full ACL tear in my right leg while playing rugby my Junior Year of college in 2018 and couldn’t take any pictures for collaborative work or clientele for quite some time because I couldn’t maneuver well or bare the constant pain from both knees. I also experienced quite a few sudden deaths in the family and friends. But despite it all, I always kept it pushing and never gave up. These experiences and other experiences I went through have shaped me into the person I am today. Strong, humble, and wiser because of it. I wouldn’t want my story to play out in any other way. I came through a lot of obstacles physically, emotionally, mentally, financially and spiritually. But even then, despite my depression and anxiety (which I don’t claim even if diagnosed medically), I kept it pushing. I like to live my life as if there is no tomorrow. Because we aren’t guaranteed now or tomorrow. I can definitely say my purpose in life is to help my community grow as individuals and reach their desiring goals based off of my experiences and testimonies I can give.
We’d love to hear more about Real Authentic Work.

Today I own the rights to my business. I copyrighted my business name and logo and made it into an LLC. I also have invested thousands in my equipment to become a better creator. I currently own a Canon RP and I love my nifty fifty lenses. I have bigger plans to eventually open nonprofit organizations that will better the environment climate-wise, build up certain communities and different charities, which will help people in need. I’m an entrepreneur. I plan on owning several businesses, all serving a greater purpose in life. I currently am working on a clothing brand as well but it’s not released yet. I plan on doing many things. My top goal is to create meaningful movies that will have powerful messages behind them. I’m known for capturing raw moments, Real Authentic Work. I do videography and photography and really create anything and everything besides that.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My plan is to own a movie production team under my business and make meaningful movies. I also want to have several businesses which include retail for clothing, real estate, and master investing in the largest financial market. I plan on growing the “Visionaries” creatives community globally. I plan to eventually be financially free and be able to repay my loved ones. But most of all, I plan to connect with more likeminded individuals that want to make a difference in the world. I plan to travel endlessly and give tremendously!
