Today we’d like to introduce you to Remi Etefia.
Remi, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
My father and uncles have been entrepreneurs all my life, so it was only a matter of time before I started my journey as an entrepreneur. I worked as a business development manager for 13 years seeking and closing new business for companies like w.w Grainger, Cartera commerce, first data, but I always felt I should be doing my own thing, I saved up some money and started looking for opportunities for me to build a new business from scratch. I remembered seeing kids playing in Knockerball’s at a festival in Miami and thought it would be a great business to bring to Atlanta. I did my research on the company, prayed hard, quit my job and started my entrepreneur journey Looking to grow my business and hopefully by the grace of God create a Knockerball soccer league here in Atlanta
Has it been a smooth road?
I ended up having some health issues that came up, being a young black man it was also really hard getting into certain events and sometimes my own people didn’t support.
