Meet Shellie Slack of B.E – Transformation

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shellie Slack.

Shellie, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. At age 25, I decided to truly give my life to the Lord and commit to a journey of growing with Him after becoming tired of doing life my way. I wanted true joy, happiness and purpose for my life. I always longed to be a butterfly. I admired the beauty and freedom the butterfly had as it flapped its wings through the air so gracefully. My journey has consisted of the renewing and transforming of my mind, heart and soul. God rescued me from my feelings of abandonment, depression, loneliness, lack of self-worth and self-love from the trauma I endured as a child. Losing the people that meant the most to me at a young age was the first wave of my downward spiral as a depressed little girl. I had a smile on the outside but was dealing with turmoil on the inside.

As my relationship with God continues to grow, I continue to experience a metamorphosis, just like a butterfly. I am evolving into the woman that God always destined me to become from in my mother’s womb. I have a Christian Life Coaching business for teen girls and women. My business is a reflection of who I am; a Kingdom Woman. My coaching approach is Spirit-Led and tailored to the individual’s need. My calling is to help the Body of Believers align more closely with God’s plan. My mission is to assist my clients in their spiritual development, self-discovery of who they are in Christ, life goals and purpose by moving them from desires to action through effective collaboration that provides reinforcement of biblical values. B.E.-Transformation is equipping teen girls and women with the Faith, Confidence, and success to live a spirit-led life through building an authentic relationship with God.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
This journey has been a blessing, although I’ve seen many dark days before I saw light. True Change does not happen overnight. Some people give up too soon when they don’t see the change in themselves or lives within the time frame they expect to see it. I encourage others to put their faith and trust in God. Trust His timing, no matter what it may currently look like. God sees the hearts of those who are committed and desire the type of transformation that only can happen from Him. During my process, I did my part, I was committed to the work. However, God was by my side every step of the way. I wouldn’t be the woman I am without Him. If God can rescue me from the pain of my past, trust me, He will do the same to you. Instead of taking a chill pill, I tell others to just chill and try Jesus!

Please tell us about B.E – Transformation.
I am so proud that my Coaching business is God-inspired. He is the CEO of my business. I literally have personal business meetings with God. Because God is my partner in this business, His Kingdom at mind is placed first. My business is my ministry. I get to witness Eternal ROI ( Return of Investment) as I invite the Holy Spirit to guide my coaching sessions with my clients. I also have personal development books, curriculum, journals and workbooks. I offer mentorship, Parenting support and Visionary consulting as additional services. Being a Kingdom Driven Entrepreneur is what most definitely sets me apart from others.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I would have not delayed my obedience to God regarding a particular area of my life. Delayed obedience is a delayed destiny, however God is faithful and the changes I’ve made happened the time He knew it would happen.
