Meet Terrence Davis, Jr. of Saint Davis Beauty

Today we’d like to introduce you to Terrence Davis, Jr.

Terrence, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I am from a small city called Suitland, MD. Right outside of Southeast Washington, DC. I dreamt of becoming an actor as a child. While following the steps to make that possible, I encountered experiences that built my character, taught me a lot about the real world, and gave me a reason for what I do. Because no actor really is self-sufficient right after school, I needed to find work to keep the bills paid. Fashion and beauty were avenues I could easily relate to. It required creativity, people skills, and an ability to express myself. After indulging in the lifestyle and spending my whole life as the only brother to four sisters, I started a clinical skincare line. Saint Davis Beauty houses products for your everyday routine as well as formulas to execute particular beauty needs. I launched softly in 2019 but am preparing for a relaunch late 2020. We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Nothing valuable in life is easy. I believe the toughest part was being really sure in endeavors. It can be hard finding your niche and even harder maintaining it. I am at such a vulnerable place in my life and career path but my optimism keeps me going.

Saint Davis Beauty – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Saint Davis Beauty is a clinical skincare line. It houses daily regimens for regular cleaning and skin maintenance, but also offers products to achieve beauty goals like brightening, tightening, and restoring damaged, aged skin.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I am looking forward to being one of the biggest black-owned beauty brands. I eventually would love to expand my business from products to services.
