Today we’d like to introduce you to Hamilton Hayes.
Hamilton, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I’m an Atlanta native alternative pop artist and producer. I go by the stage name HTHAZE (pronounced H. T. Haze). I make music for my fanbase all around the globe and have a successful YouTube channel where I review albums.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’m still learning new things every day! Working with different kinds of artists always push my limits with creativity but it’s always fun.
Can you give our readers some background on your music?
I’m an artist! I release music on Spotify and my biggest hit to the day would be my song I Love You, Baby, with a little over three million plays. I’m unbelievably proud of my fans, individually, and I value the community we’ve built upon everything else. I wanted to make a place where people can be themselves and just feel good when listening to my music.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
So far, probably hitting over 100k monthly listeners on Spotify, the number fluctuates a lot but just the fact that I hit it with no label or promotional stuff makes me feel very proud.
