So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I was laid off from my job in October 2017. I had no idea what I was going to do. I started working for instacart. Daily, I searched indeed for a job. I remembered my good friend Joyce in Atlanta. I went to her Facebook page to see if she was doing anything I could do. I saw the “School of Glamology.” I thought she worked there. I had no idea she owned it. She hired me as a Contract Glam Instructor. I taught Classic Eyelash Extensions. I drove to Atlanta to get certified. I took the last $55 I had in my account and bought my lash supplies. I posted a few ads on fb. The rest is lash history.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I have been very blessed. I did not realize that there was a market for lash extensions. I lash full-time.

I absolutely love my company Lashed by Hannah S. I specialize in lash extensions. My top-selling style is called “Mini Professional Mega Volume”. It is a 12mm 18-20d volume fan. My client loves it. It is a length and size I have custom made for my clients.
Because of Covid, I was forced to close my doors. I took the downtime to revamp my business to offer more services. My business is now registered under Hannah S. Services. I offer Itips Hair Extensions, Tutoring K-8, Handcrafted CBD products, Makeup Tutoring, Classic Lash Extensions Classes, and same business startup training.
What sets me apart from others is that I love what I do and I take pride in my work. My customers get star quality treatment.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success for me is providing for myself and my son. I have a successful business. My clients are loyal and supportive. I am making a living doing what I love.
