Today we’d like to introduce you to Fatima Camara.

Hi Fatima, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started off cooking from my home and selling plates to my friends and followers on Instagram, but due to life changes, I moved out of New York. When I moved, I was not able to sell plates anymore, so I decided to start a YouTube channel, “doulé doule” from that I was thinking about ways to make money so I decided to work on my seasoning line which has finally launched in November 2020.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been smooth at all. I feel like my personal life has gotten in the way, which isn’t bad but working 9-5, childbirth, and being a wife has taken over my schedule. I felt myself procrastinating a lot. Also, me moving back to NY has caused me to pause my YouTube and just focus on my newborn and family.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Currently, I work for a homeless shelter and although it isn’t my dream, it does give me purpose and help me pay my bills. With the grace of god, I am praying that I one day I can open my own restaurant. I want to be known for my delicious meals and much more. although a small number of people know me, i know that I have a Long way to go. Right now I am most proud of being an amazing mother and wife.

How do you think about happiness?
Different things make me happy lol but I am very big on family so I’d say my family and my princess that is growing Soo fast.
