Meet Mo Clark

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mo Clark.

Mo Clark started as a party and event promoter, where she hosted events throughout Atlanta. Mo has written for magazines such as Kontrol Magazine and several blogging sites, including her own. In addition to hosting and writing, Mo also has modeling, acting, and entrepreneurship under her heels. In 2019, the DaPostUp media platform was created. A platform that caters to getting to know people from all walks of the entertainment industry and give them a chance to share their stories. DaPostUp handles onsite interviews, radio and television interviews and more.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. Being female and in the industry, it seems like you have to work harder to gain your respect and keep your respect. In addition to that, sometimes finding that perfect work-life balance until you can commit all the way to fund your passion can be tough. With media, or important to make the right connections and stay optimistic.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Mo Clark is a brand working itself. I specialize in all types of media. I cover events and I have been running my radio show/podcasts for three years. I recently decided to take my showroom Status Network which is a streaming platform. Through this one network, DaPost Up is now a visual show that can be viewed on Roku, Amazon, Fire TV, and many other platforms. I am most proud of the fact that despite life’s challenges, I continue to go on. Some days are rough, but I’m figuring this support system out and surrounding myself around people that motivate me and keep me going. The thing that sets me apart from others is the fact that I literally was born to do this. I’ve always had the gift of gab and for me to enter into any other arena in life would be senseless lol.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
My advice at this point would be to always study your craft. If there’s no lane for you, create one. Always keep your personal feelings out of it, unless it compromises your morals. It’s ok to take constructive criticism but never water down your craft for the sake of others.
