Check Out Sean Beeks’ Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sean Beeks.

Sean, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Well, I’m from Atlanta, Georgia, Born and raised in the city of Decatur. Music has literally been in my blood since I can remember from getting little things such as drums, keyboards, and microphones for Christmas. From a young age, my love for music continued to show. I was the kid rapping and singing all the songs on the radio. I started writing raps by the age of seven and recording my first song and burning my first CDs by 13. I started on SoundCloud like most and continued pushing for years. It wasn’t until my high school years until I first started getting a good amount of listeners.

By the end of Highschool, I had a pretty decent support statist locally. Nothing huge but definitely something to start off with. I was continuously topping myself and was ready to get the ball. It wasn’t until now I noticed I had to probably go to college because that’s what every “successful” person does and I’m pretty sure that’s what my grandparents expected me to do. So I went for something I knew nothing about except the pay… Computer Science. Eventually, I dropped out after the first semester to do what I was really meant to be doing. Not even a whole month after I dropout, I go viral on Twitter for my decision. It was seen by over 2,100,000 people. Of course, the publicity came with a lot of hate, but more importantly, it came with a lot of love. Ever since the tweet, my craft and my music career itself have been skyrocketing!!! I’ve meet a lot of cool producers, photographers, and an artist. I also met a cool sound engineer who lives in Arizona named David Oznog. David was one of the first to reach out after I went viral. (I went to Albany state btw) He actually reached out and asked to mix some of my tracks. After a time of procrastinating, I finally gave it a shot and noticed I should’ve got a long time ago. David give me a new professional studio sound, which I am so grateful for. He mixed my last album, “Tape 222,” which is currently the best tape I’ve ever put out. We have so much in store for the year of 2021. I will even be having a tour with @themarketlisting in 2021! Follow @undefinedtour2021 on Instagram to stay updated. The story continues…

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I think its a challenges everyday. Everywhere. The biggest challenge to deal with is yourself. If anything, I have to keep myself as focused and consistent and I can. I must continue to grow into better versions of myself. Exactly how I’ve been doing it.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am an artist. I would say, sound artist. I hate to box myself in as a hip hop artist, or r&b artist or pop. I just call it finding my sound. Year, after year I find and create different sounds that overall makes me a better artist. A lot of practice and patience. Today I’m most proud of myself for jumping the fear barrier leaving college. I feel after I left the world has only shown me it only has more to offer. Believe it or not but this was my first year going to the studio but I was an artist before I was put in there, ya feel me. And what sets me apart from others? I couldn’t say, I only know what I can do.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
Everyone, who helping me put this together. No need to name them drop, I think they know who they are. And if reading, thank you from everything in my heart.
