Today we’d like to introduce you to Jay Vinson.
Hi Jay, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m the founder of JJV Enterprises and Jay Vinson Ministries Inc. I was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama and moved to Atlanta in 2013. As a little boy, I was always active by playing sports and a team leader in which always led to our success on each team I played for. My parents made sure that I was in church every week which actually led me to becoming a Sunday school teacher as I taught my peers every week in which that prepared me to be an ordained minister of the Gospel when I was 15 years of age. So as I entered my senior year of High School and after I enter my freshman year of College, I had a passion and desire to continue to work with the youth so I began to work at the local YMCA in my hometown of Montgomery and fell in love with tutoring and mentoring the students I was working with after school. After graduating with my master’s degree, I ended up working in the education field in the Metro Atlanta area as a middle school and currently a high school educator. As being a faith-based leader, and author I have coached several individuals find their God-given purpose and that has played a huge part of my ministry as I had seen those results come to fruition. Fast forward December of 2019, the ideas of JJV Enterprises and Jay Vinson Ministries Inc. came to light. As it was only a few close family and friends whom I had shared my vision to. In the spring of 2020 I decided to take a leap of faith of becoming a business owner and CEO of Jay Vinson Ministries Inc. It has been a great experience so far with Jay Vinson Ministries Inc. as I have reached a global following and partners with the farthest being in Africa by using the virtual platforms throughout this global pandemic. Like any other entrepreneur in marketplace ministry and business, I had some good days and I had some bad days, but each day I keep working hard with a purpose. It has been an uphill battle with JJV Enterprises starting out as I realize some things had to be adjusted from in person to the online platform. But, things are coming together smoothly now.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road at all; but at the same time I have grown so much personally and business-wise. There have been inspirational moments and moments of sadness. Some days I wake up ready to attack each day on purpose, and some days I wish I could talk to my relatives one more time whom I lost due to COVID and a few years ago. I had no idea that our country would be hit by a global pandemic COVID-19. So, I had to pivot and change my entire plans with my business. With me being a more hands on type of person, I had to learn how to pivot part of my business to the online platform. But, the good part is that I had a few business owners who coached me through the process with how to start part of my business online and how to target the right audience within my niche. My goal is to make sure that my clients are 120% satisfied with my services that I offer online. Regardless of how some clients may be difficult to work with, you always want to provide the best service and have loyal clients or customers.

JJV Enterprises specializes in… Educational & Cultural Arts Community Outreach Classes: Financial Literacy Program FDIC, Feeding The Homeless, Youth Coaching: Stepping Into Greatness Coaching Academy for middle and high school boys. As a best selling author of Stepping Into Greatness from Pain to Purpose & Promise, educator and certified transformational coach, I am seeing first hand that a lot of students are losing hope, stressed out, don’t know what their purpose is for life, and are not engaging in school due to the pandemic that our nation is currently faced with. That’s why we at JJV Enterprises adjusted our coaching program specifically for our young men who are ready to Step Into Greatness and start winning in this thing we called life. I have all the tools, well trained, equipped, and eager to work with these young men. That is what set me apart from other youth coaches. This will be a three months group coaching program with coaching sessions twice a week. It will be held through the zoom platform due to COVID-19 restrictions or held on campus. Whichever may be comfortable for each parent. We also offer One-on-One coaching for our Stepping Into Greatness Coaching program for each young man who may not feel comfortable with the group coaching virtually. It has always been on my heart to give back to our community locally. But, I was not fortunate to do so over the years. But, my vision has always been to feed the homeless and those who are in need.
So, lately we have partnered with the right people. We at JJV Enterprises and Jay Vinson Ministries Inc. will be feeding the homeless starting the month of April of 2021 downtown Atlanta. It is an inspirational television show which will feature several guests frequently as well as biblical teaching messages that will ignite your faith in God. My goals and ambitions for 2021 is to become the best youth transformational coach with our young men locally and globally by giving them the tools they need to get unlocked and become great at everything they want to do in life. Even with my broadcast television show, I want to continue to utilize my platform but in a more global way to touch those individuals who may think about giving up on life due to the pandemic or personal things that they may be battling alone.
