Conversations with Anicka Hill

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anicka Hill.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I moved from Huntsville AL with the dream of becoming an entrepreneur and I was determined to not let anything stand in my way. Although I’m a single mother raising a daughter alone, I chose to not let that stop me from achieving my dreams. I knew God had a plan and I was destined to be more than any stereotype others may have placed me in I always knew I had a testimony and I think God is finally giving me the opportunity to do so through not only my cleaning service but through all platforms.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Some of my struggles along the way it was I never grew up with anyone in my family who has become a business owner no one to guide me and show me the steps to take. I decided to step out on faith and do it on my own

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I currently have a cleaning service called the momz squad I specialize in cleaning homes and commercial properties, I am most definitely known for my very detailed cleaning I’m most proud of the fact that I have consistent, loyal customers what sets me apart from other cleaning services is being an owner of the company I take the time out to always clean my homes just like I was taught by my grandmothers putting smiles on each customer face and leave their homes smelling and looking beautiful.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
When I was a little girl, both my grandmothers’ clean homes and businesses and as I would spend weekends with them both, I would always ask could I work with him and that was really some of the best memories of my childhood one of my grandmothers of recently passed and I am honored to continue in her footsteps by cleaning homes and buildings and giving all the love and care that she would.

• 25 Per hr basic cleaning
• 175 Deep cleaning
• $15 Per laundry load wash and fold
• Commercial properties contracts as low as 450 a month
