Today we’d like to introduce you to Keesha Mccloud.
Hi Keesha, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I am a business owner, podcast host, and published author. It all started with a vision because without a vision, you can’t move in purpose. I have been in the medical field for over 20 years and I like helping others. I always wanted to start a business for years but couldnt push forward for some reason. The end of 2019, right before the pandemic hit, God placed it in my heart to start a private homecare care business. I was a little skeptical at first but i wanted to be obedient to God and filed my paperwork to become an LLC. The pandemic slowed the process up but months later, everything began to flow. I became a provider for optum health insurance and now I have a successful business in Atlanta and Alabama. I started my podcast empowering lives through relationships which airs via Facebook live and Youtube at 8 pm eastern standard time every other Thursday. I published two children’s books in 2020. Speak Life to Your Inner Queen and King Affirmation books for kids. You can find my books on Amazon and the Literacy Shop Websites.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Yes, it has been challenging but I’m learning something new every day. Everything is a learning process but never give up even when it looks like you can’t move forward.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
KMS Private Homecare Services LLC provides non-skilled personal home care to medically fragile, disabled, elderly, and Va patients. We specialize in assisting patients with bathing, grooming, light housekeeping, laundry, feeding, meal preparation, medication management, and more. What sets my business apart from others is we make sure that the patient’s needs are met and the patients are first priority. We set a schedule based on the patients needs and wants. Just seeing a smile on our patient’s faces is what we aim for. We accept cash and optum insurance for VA patients under the Vaccn program. Let Kms Private Homecare Services provide quality home care for your loved ones!
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I love Atlanta, it’s a big city but what I like about Atlanta the most is that it’s family oriented. What I dislike about Atlanta is the traffic and accidents.
