Today we’d like to introduce you to Tony Dukes (DJMT).
Hi Tony, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started going with my uncle to DJ gigs and being with my uncle, I realized that I could do that I can please a crowd. I was renting speakers from my uncle and his friend tee but I had to get my own so I started investing in myself and started doing small gigs here and there. My first club was Club 710 my 2nd club was the goosebumps strip club in downtown Atlanta. My current club is Xhale hookah lounge in Lagrange, GA.
I traveled to Austin, Texas with artist Keezy rose and BBE. Done a Major concert twice in Columbus civic center, DJing for the AMG twinz and opening up for major artists like Kevin gates. While djing for the AMG twinz, we traveled to Tennessee and opened up for Lil baby. I also opened up for gunna and hoodrich Pablo Juan thanks to Love The Hustle Alex. I am currently working towards my DJ khaled inspired album wich will consist of multiple artist and music videos to each song.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
With the help of my city and friends and family, elevating and growth has been smooth.

I am most proud of how far I have come and how good I can please the crowd. What sets me from others is my energy if the crowd is turnt, I’m turnt up with them too.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Get paid before the event and know your worth. Don’t sell yourself short.
