Community Highlights: Meet Asia Vaughn of The Wink Cartel

Today we’d like to introduce you to Asia Vaughn.

Hi Asia, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’m currently a college student at Georgia Southern University. In my third year. I’ve always wanted to be an entrepreneur, but I wanted to be a dentist too. It wasn’t until my second year of college I decided to invest in business selling lashes.

At first, it was just a side hustle, but I realized it’s my absolute passion. I love being my own boss. I started a YouTube and even became a certified lash technician. My online store now not only has extremely luxurious minks that bring drama to any event but also has lash application and care products as well. (Along with my services) when I graduate, I plan to pursue entrepreneurship to the fullest, but I would just like to have my degree as a backup plan. There is so much more I plan to do with my business and businesses to come.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Some struggles have been proper investments, consistency, and just the fight to keep going. In business, there are good and bad seasons and it can get extremely discouraging when you’re not seeing the results you want. That’s why it’s so important to really be passionate about being a boss.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My online store is a one-stop shop; we sell amazingly durable mink lashes what’s that says apart from other lash businesses as we provide products that you can use to maintain your mink lashes. I’ve had customers wear the same pair of mink lashes for months just because of how good the quality of mink we use. As for my extension services, I’m improving by the day and my clientele is increasing beautifully.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
My support system. I’m constantly manifesting the life I want, but for my loved ones to do the same means so much to me. I believe in myself, but to see others believe in me just pushes me to keep going.
