Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany “2KBOO’ Lias.

Hi Brittany “2KBOO’, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Allow me to introduce myself, I’m 2Kboo a Facebook Gaming Partner and 2K Streamer. I first got into the streaming scene back in 2016 when I formed my love for the game NBA 2k. I’ve always been animated and pretty silly so everyone suggested that I should start streaming and I gave it a shot.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Becoming a professional full-time partnered gamer definitely took a lot of grinds and hard work. In the beginning of my career, I was inconsistent and streamed off and on for a couple of years. It was a struggle to grow and tap into my full potential. Fast forward to 2020, I got a good team behind me that we’re constantly talking about “consistency ” and we’re pushing me to be the best me. 2020 ended up being my best year of streaming! I worked my butt off streaming hours upon hours! I always make sure my viewers feel special and at home in my chat. I also can’t leave out that I am actually really good at the game! The people loveeeee to see a pretty lady beat these guys at their own game. Today the grind is still going strong, 64k followers across all platforms and officially partnered on Facebook. This is only the start…I have a few upcoming projects and of course, you can catch me dogging these boys on 2K.

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
My favorite app right now is Podia. I’m currently working with a non-profit to develop a ‘how to” guide into streaming and Podia is a great application to take or build online courses that anyone can access. Be on the lookout for that top of next year!
