Today we’d like to introduce you to Jamal Da Creator.

Hi Jamal Da Creator, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Well, it’s actually sorta funny. Lol. I’ve always been into fashion as far as dressing up & keeping myself in the latest trends but I never really considered it as a career path.. It’s just always been something that came naturally honestly! But one of my followers reached out to me on Facebook “out of nowhere” & was like: hey can you make my daughter a hello kitty outfit for her first b.day & I was like huhhh. 🥴

I’ve never made an outfit before but of course, I didn’t tell her that. Lol. I took on the task & to my surprise when I posted it on Facebook, everybody went crazy & that’s honestly where my journey started…. Which lead me to create pieces for Megan thee Stallion, Alonzo Arnold, Alexis Sky, Sukianna, Asian Doll, Lil Boosie, Treasure P, Lil James, & NBA Youngboys Kids etc….

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I’ll say it’s been amazing thus far but of course, there’s going to be a few bumpy roads along the way but it’s all for good reason I guess.. Some of the biggest challenges for me is over-booking myself! I tend to overbook myself often because I don’t like turning down no coins. Which sometimes leads me to not being able to really rest or take time to live life…. Oh & sometimes the attitudes that come with some of the clients. (Laawddd I be having to pray at times. Lol.)

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m known as a fashion designer/stylist to the world but honestly, I’m a guy that wears many hats….. I’ve done sooooo many things over the years that didn’t revolve around fashion & we’re major successes as well..

What do I specialize in? “Creating” I love bringing looks to life when it comes to fashion. I love sewing & creating dope pieces. So far my most popular pieces has been the bandanna denim looks & for the year 2021 the NBA jersey transformations where I take guy jerseys & turn them into some the flyest 2pc sets you’ve ever seen. Lol.
