Hi Kimberly, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
Hello, I am Kimberly Abrams from Montgomery, AL. I didn’t come from a rich family, so my husband and I decided to create one and make it great. We have 4 kids and started from scratch in our lives with absolutely no help, but God. When my husband was in the military, we decided to deliver furniture pieces for people just to help out. When we moved back to Alabama, God gave us an opportunity to build a successful moving company, and have already made 6 figures our first year of this year 2021. I have launched a talk show of last year November 29 which is an inspiring and motivational talk show for all ages to help create successful individuals. Our moving company is called S & K Express Moving which travels local and long-distance and is on track to make a million dollars. The talk show is called “The Kim Abrams Show”. God gave me the ultimate feedback of LAUNCHING a talk show since I almost lost my tongue at the age of 4 from bouncing off a spring of a bed with my brother. The talk show has given me ways to bring successful and positive thoughts to people who were like me. I used to a negative person because I did not grow up in a positive environment. Life has taught me to be grateful and appreciate the things I currently have and not what I don’t have.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road in which nothing is easy when it comes to success. Some of the struggles with creating a 6-figure moving company were branding the company against larger companies and not getting any business because my husband was working a job while owning the company. As far as the talk show, I was nervous and afraid no one would watch me since I was not popular in school and had negative traits and thoughts from my childhood.

The Kim Abrams Show is a Facebook watch live show which is aired on Fridays at 11:00 central time with guests with inspiring stories and motivational speeches. I always dreamed of being successful and it feels good to do it. What sets me apart from others is that I chose to be great and not be afraid. I am 26 years old with 4 kids and I do believe anything is possible no matter where you came from. Everyone’s road will be rough and bumpy, but as humans, we have to choose to fight till the end if we want success. I am proud that people watch the show and support me for who I am. I want my readers to know that I am now offering sponsorship packages for those who would like to sponsor a show per week which will help to support my show to its fullest.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson for me has been that I should not waste energy on those who do not mean any good to me. Focus on the things that are important and not the situation that is empty.
