Today we’d like to introduce you to Eli Dib Caiazzo.
Hi Eli, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
I came to this country with experience as a journalist and marketing expert and nothing turned out at first as I expected. I was about to give up the idea of working again in what I used to.
After years of trying now, I lead the digital content strategy department of MundoHispánico, America’s #1 Independently Owned Spanish-Language Digital Media Company. My team have led successful marketing campaigns for national and international brands and the most important is I get to help the Hispanic community to be better connected and informed.
All started with not giving up and desire to learn and to overcome myself.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
The pandemic made me redefine my priorities and helped me manage to work more on my personal and professional growth.
There were many challenges at the same time, one of them being pregnant and giving birth during the presence of Covid-19 and the uncertainty of what it would be like to return to normality, going back to the office, etc.
Along this path, I focused on doing my best and restructuring my purpose. This helped me to better organize myself and set new professional and personal goals.
Today I am working from home, being with my baby and successfully implementing the content strategy for the company I work for, while advancing with my professional and personal objectives. I have opened myself more to the community, I have made known all the things in which I can be more useful and that has brought a lot of positive impact on the business, on my career and on my life in general.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a content/marketing specialist with a team of social media, producers/ photographers, content creators behind me. No matter the brand or the product, you will get an amazing plan/strategy to achieve your goal. I think my favorite part of working with brands/businesses is educating them on all of the options available; when I tell someone “We can make that happen” I don’t only believe it, I mean it.
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
For me, nothing is about luck is about being ready for the opportunities. I really believe if you want to be great or to be part of something big, you need to show your talent, work hard, smarter and then, you’ll get what people call luck.
