Hi Kashy T and Dajourna Whyte, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Me & my friends found a pair of clippers & at the time we couldn’t afford haircuts etc. so I decided to start cutting myself & my brother & friends for something in return as little as a snack from their house or something, sometimes even packs of noodles, then my mother told me I need to start charging them if I’m going to be using her light bill cutting them 😂 so I started off charging $5

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My Struggles along the way would be me getting used to people having negative things to say about my work, I used to feel some type of way & feel the need to respond, now I’m at a point where I don’t entertain them at all, I somewhat see everyone as robots on social media.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a 21 years old self-taught celebrity barber, I’m sorta a perfectionist so when I do a haircut, I try to perfect it to the point where it’s so flawless that it looks edited, so I see my work more as my art, I see myself as an artist more so than a barber, I cut in my own way I see right for that client/head & Everyone seems to love my art & the way I motivate others through it. I’m most proud of my consistency & my discipline I have to keep going hard & keep trying to motivate others everyday.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters most to me is hoping I can continue to inspire people all across the globe to stay consistent with what they love doing & knowing their worth. Also, for my cuts to keep changing people confidence/mood, I love when I give someone the best cut they ever had & they whole mood changes when they see it, I feel the confidence jump back in their body.
