Hi Olivia, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi, I’m Liv! I was born and raised in a small town called Salisbury, NC. Once I graduated high school I decided I wanted to live in the big city and moved to Atlanta, GA, and I’ve been here ever since. I am a mother, student, and travel success coach. I took my first plane ride when I was 16 and I knew travel was for me! I had my son as a teen so that did cause obstacles for me, but I didn’t let it stop my dreams and goals. I had to figure out how I would travel affordably with my son. In 2016 I became a travel agent and that was the best decision I’ve made. It has helped me travel the world on a budget, save money and create additional streams of income. When I started my travel business journey, I was learning by trial and error. I’ve made many mistakes and determined was does and doesn’t work for me, but travel will always be my second love, next to my son. My hobbies include working out, trying new foods, and spending time with my son when I’m not traveling.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a cakewalk in the park! I didn’t have a “struggle life” growing up, I was well taken care of. Once I got to the ATL and on my own of course some bumps and hiccups came but that’s what strengthen me. I got pregnant with my one and only son at 19, single mom with milk still on my breath lol trying to figure out how to make it in this big city. I had real responsibilities now. One thing for sure I will always work and figure out a way to make something shake. I’ve probably worked every job you can think of literally, just to make a comfortable life for me and my son. Just recently I left a toxic relationship so every day I’m still healing, growing and flourishing as a person. I wouldn’t trade my journey for anything because it’s molded me into who I am today.

I am a certified travel professional. I help plan luxury vacations for people on all budgets. I also mentor other individuals who are interested in becoming travel agents. Currently, as I type this I am creating a course just for individuals interested in a Beach Money Lifestyle. A beach money lifestyle is where you are able to make passive income from the beach, your 5-star hotel, or anywhere you desire. I am most proud of having others trust me as their mentor in the travel industry, that’s HUGE for me! I am proud of the growth I’ve seen within the past 2 years in my business, from not booking 1 trip to creating a whole travel course is a blessing. I want to let everyone know YOU DESIGN YOUR LIFE AND NOONE ELSE! If you want to travel for a living while earning income, I got you!. If you want to book vacations for others and earn, I got you. If you just need a mentor you can relate to, I’m here for you!
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
For anyone just starting, do not give up or get overwhelmed. Put in the work. Change your mindset, find a mentor and stay close to them, create a routine, and go for it! Oh, and invest in yourself if you want someone else to. Get out of that shy BS and meet people, speaking from experience.
I wish I would have taken my business seriously when I first began years ago, connected with my now mentor sooner, and networked.
