Meet Alisha Danielle

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alisha Danielle.

Hi Alisha, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have always been an entrepreneur at heart. I started at eight years old with a lemonade stand, then knocking on people’s doors to take out the trash for a dollar. I didn’t feel like college was right for me, but the military offered business incentives that interested me. I joined the United States Army in 2004 and was honorable discharged in 2012. After the military, I took a federal job that I didn’t feel allowed me to thrive, so I ventured out to open my 1st business. My first brick-and-mortar was Fancy Banglez in Fayetteville, NC. I soon realized that I wanted to do more of a service-based business. I started seeking volunteers for a veterans appreciation event that I was hosting. While exploring a Day Spa to recruit volunteers, to my surprise, the owner informed me that she was selling her spa. At that moment. I knew exactly what I wanted to do. I asked if I could pray in her spa, and after praying, I gave her a $2000 deposit and asked if she would allow me 30 days to come up with the remaining $28,000.

I didn’t seek a bank loan, because I knew I did not meet the requirements necessary to be approved. So, I began manifesting and seeking personal investors. After I got closer to the deadline, I began to fear. A close friend told me that if I could come up with $28,000 in such a short time, that the shop was mine, and I needed to claim what was mine. Within 30 days, at the last minute I secured the last $3000. In August 2014, I became the owner of my 1st salon, without any professional license. After opening, I didn’t want to only depend on others’ skills and knowledge, so I obtained my own esthetician license. Which led to me conducting a variety of training classes to assist others in becoming licensed in waxing, lash extensions, advanced facials and more. Me Time Day Spa Fayetteville earned the title as the 2nd best minority-owned business in the city and was 2nd of the top 3 best Day Spas in the city. In 2021, I expanded and opened Bliss Day Spa in Fayetteville.

The success of my businesses in Fayetteville inspired me to further expand. After the passing of my mother, I wanted to come back home, to Atlanta. I began traveling back and forth from Fayetteville to Atlanta and realized that the cost of renting a suite was equivalent to renting an entire building. This led me to opening The Alisha Danielle Glam Factory, a salon suite, in Lilburn in April of 2022. Another opportunity presented itself, which was the perfect layout for a Spa. I knew this would be the perfect place to open my 2nd Me Time location. With lots of hard work and dedication, Me Time Atlanta is scheduled to open on June 10, 2022 in Buckhead. This will be my 4th location!

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
The road to success has most definitely been a hard road. From having two kids to losing my mother. In addition to dealing with other people’s energy of greed and jealousy. I had to learn how to change my mindset. Because failure is not an option and fear can not control me.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Alisha Danielle Inc. is centered around providing A-1 service. From offering a variety of beauty/health services, training, travel accommodations and other professional services. We specialize in all-natural skin care, accredited professional service training, and motivational speaking. What sets me apart from others is that I came from the bottom in a nontraditional way. I am most proud that my brand was nominated in Atlanta, for top esthetician of the year and I earned 2nd place out of 2000 nominees. I want people to know that we are a top-of-the-line service provider, and they will always receive personal VIP service. We are a minority, veteran-owned brand that does not cut corners, and is passionate about providing exceptional service.

How do you define success?
Success is something earned and not given. When you are at peace with yourself and your accomplishments, whether big or small, that is success.
