Meet Briana Neptune of Events by BrieMonayy

Today we’d like to introduce you to Briana Neptune.

Hi Briana, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
To take you all to the beginning of my journey and how I started Events by BrieMonayy. I want to first introduce myself! I am Briana Brown ‘ Neptune, the founder and CEO of Events by BrieMonayy, a luxury event planning company that specializes in all cooperate & personalized events. I am also the CEO of Boss Ladies Networking Brunches & Events, for small businesses owned by women to come together and network and sell and/or promote their products. My women events are to motivate women and uplift women into starting their own businesses and allowing established businesses to grow. I am 23 years old and I was born in Cincinnati Ohio and moved to Georgia about ten years ago. I am the oldest of five children. I have always had a strong work ethic, I started my first job at 13 years old, at Wendy’s and had worked a job ever since. The more and more I experienced working, and just working for other people whether it was fast food, a call center or the doctor’s office it was all the same. I was undervalued and taken advantage of.

Whatever I do, I put my all into it, to be the most effective at what I am doing, whether it’s making appointments or selling an item I am going to be the best at doing it. I felt as though I would do this for companies who did not know my worth or value me as an employee. I asked myself why make a company who doesn’t care about you thousands of dollars when I could take my expertise and invest my time and work ethic into my own craft.

I’ve known for a while since I was a child I wanted to be an entrepreneur and create generational wealth within my family and bloodline. Event planning has always been a passion of mine. I enjoy decor and color coordinating, Being able to channel my creativity into something that improves the lives of others is why I do what I do. I love what I do. My biggest motivation is my daughters, their names are Londyn & Paris. My pride and joys!

I took the leap of faith in January of 2020 and quit my 9-5 job at a sleep specialist’s office. I always tell myself to not, not take risks but to manage them. I had full support from my amazing husband that wanted me to follow my dreams and pursue what will make me happy. I launched my business on January 19th and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. It is so amazing that we are almost at year 3 and you can see the growth! I am so grateful for my clients that makes Events by BrieMonayy keep going! We have tripled our clientele since 2020 and I am so blessed and grateful! It will only be up from here!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Being a business owner has definitely come with its struggles. Business can be up or down. It has always not been peaches and rainbows, but I am very blessed and have never gave up on my dreams. This is just the beginning there is always room for growth and improvement. The main struggle is that I started my business in the year of a pandemic, adjusting to the new normal has been a task and an obstacle to overcome. I’m I continue to be motivated driven and headstrong to continue to pursue my dreams no matter the disadvantages.

Events by BrieMonayy is a luxury event planning company. We specialize in personalized events such as weddings, baby showers, birthdays, cooperate and social events. We are affordable and passionate. We are a one stop shop providing all-inclusive decor and all needed event additives. We work with amazing vendors and provide our clients with professionalism, transparency and superb decor. We offer many different packages and services big or small to accommodate all clients What makes Events by BrieMonayy different from other event planning/styling companies, is that our main focus is our client, not money. We do what we do because we are passionate about it, enjoy it and the money is seen as a luxury not a need.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I personally don’t believe in luck, but that everything is destined for your life. What you put out into the world you get back 100 fold. If you put out good into the world, Good will return to you. All blessings come from God. I am where I am today because of God. And his blessings and favor.
