Today we’d like to introduce you to Charann Daniels.
Charann, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I always like to share how my businesses have always been God Inspired and God-led. Having received a Product development certification and a degree in Art & Design I registered my first business venture in 2019, a Product based Beauty Company with my sister and the following year 2020 we launched a Digital Design & Marketing Firm. Yup, you saw the dates correctly, we registered one business and launched the other Right before and during a pandemic!
God spoke to us both at one of our CEO meetings that it was time to make it official and make our Beauty Company a legitimate business. Not long after we signed off for our trademark to be advertised did the pandemic hit and I was awaiting to know if I still had a job. My then job found out that I had just registered my business and decided I was well off enough with my business. So they let me go. The funny part is that after I got the call that I wouldn’t be bought back on, I had such peace. I was hired earlier that year as a jewelry specialist and for the whole time, I was torn between elevating my business and staying committed to this job. That year taught me a lot about where I decided to invest my time and energy. So here started my journey as a full-time entrepreneur!
Registering and launching both businesses during the pandemic was one of the biggest leaps of faith that my sister and I have ever taken in our faith walk but it was the best decision we made that year to date. With our product-based business that year, we got 2 in-store partnerships! One with a Local Spa and the second with a Local Hotel in Bermuda. Then with our Digital Design and Marketing firm, we onboarded four new clients from all over the world! From Bermuda, UK and Atlanta!
We were busier than ever and eventually needed to hire! To date, I currently now have another full-time job that gives me time flexibility to run both businesses and my husband and I are now expecting.
Honestly, God works all things out in his perfect timing!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not. At. All. Period!
Before you become an entrepreneur, you carry a vision. That factor alone comes with its own mind battles and overcoming fears.
I had a lot of fear when launching each idea and believing God would help grow those businesses.
I had a lot of anxiety which allowed imposter syndrome to creep in. I began wondering if I was good enough to start and continue on.
Especially when my sister moved back to Atlanta with her family and continued to run our businesses from her new location, I found myself as the front man for all business-related, in-person networking and field marketing.
This really was the push I needed to trust God and trust myself into the position I was made for. I began to gain new clients and partnerships once I combatted my fear of failure.
I did get to a point when I was completely burnt out trying to run these two businesses with all the time I had in the day and night while being a wife, having commitments in ministry and still trying to be social! Not long after, I got to my breaking point. I released all of my then-clients and focused hard on setting boundaries, getting organized and aligning my Personal values with my Business values.
It allowed me to really say what I am accepting and not accepting from my journey. That is, I want to maintain balance and peace in my life. I can’t do it all and I need to organize my life! So I did!

Being creative allows me to feel freedom and a job in every artistic avenue I pursue.
I started my Art and Design Career as a multimedia artist with my drawings and paintings, then evolved with graphic design and found joy in photography. Everything I do speaks to one another. I am so grateful for the passion for Art that God placed in me, it opened so many doors in entrepreneurship.
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I currently live and work in Bermuda but I fly out to Atlanta frequently to visit my Sister and Business Partner. I love the creative culture in the city. Everybody is doing something either big or up-and-coming and it’s so inspiring. I am obsessed with the creative working spaces available and spaces for creatives!
