Hidden Gems: Meet Rikki McCoy of Flourishing Minds

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rikki McCoy.

Hi Rikki, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
In 2016, I started my practice Flourishing Minds. I wanted to feel like my work was making a difference in the lives of others and also create some freedom for myself as a therapist. Since then, things have continued to grow, and I have been able to build a relatable brand promoting mental health and wellness in the community.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
My biggest struggle is one that I teach my clients about daily: Work life balance. With the demand of therapy and the success I have seen as my business continues to grow, I have to remember that I am only one person. While I may want to save the world, that may not be realistic. I have to be mindful about my self-care and knowing when to take breaks. Learning how to refuel myself, I have been able to help so many clients learn how to do the same.

As you know, we’re big fans of Flourishing Minds LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
