Meet Yanibel Pena

Today we’d like to introduce you to Yanibel Pena.

Hi Yanibel, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started in 2019 after discovering a blogger profile through ads on instagram. When I originally started, there wasn’t a lot of data available on how to create an Instagram blog and not a lot of brands wanted to work with influencers so I just started posting regularly to grow my page. I never imagined earning money, but I wanted to do it to motivate others to follow my example. Within a year, after learning from other influencers and doing research, I figured out how to charge a brand. As a result of my Instagram posting and my daily life, some of my followers have said that my posts have helped them with picking their outfits and solo travel.

If I hadn’t worked so hard to fulfill my aspirations, I never would have reached my goals.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’ve been posting on instagram for four years, you might think, “I’ve already done everything I needed in life; why should I keep doing it?” Instagram can become so overwhelming but I work so hard to get where I am today and I treat my instagram account as a business. Another challenge for a little influencer is convincing a worthwhile brand to want to partner with you. The majority of the time, I have to email 25 brands per day to secure a single paid sponsorship. To show a brand that I am capable of working with them and that I am willing to work with them, I do everything in my power to compel them to want to work with me but I usually have to be the one reaching out to the brand. You will hear a lot of “no”s from brands in the influencer market, but if you know how to conduct a proper search, you should be able to locate the ideal brand that fits with your specialty.In the influencer business you have to be dedicate and love creating content because if you are not truly passionate about becoming a influencer you won’t be able to make it as a influencer my advice for anyone that wants to become a influencer do your research and start creating content consistently.
