Meet Kevon Hence

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kevon Hence.

Hi Kevon, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I have 4 blood brothers. Same mom same dad, I’m the middle child. 4 out of 5 of us make music, and we started a team. A brand. A movement. Originated in Philadelphia because that’s where we’re from and only just moved here back in 2020. GTM. @GloryTheMovement. We all have different sounds and different approaches to the music and do different things. Me, I make music, model, and engineer my music myself. I also put my hands in other things, one being self-teaching myself Electric Guitar. My oldest brother, he does Film too and has a film company he’s kicking off. Which is actually the Umbrella for GloryTheMovement. My other older brother does music, stock market trading, and Real Estate. And the other one that does music is actually insanely good at basketball and have only just started music. We have our hands in a lot of different things.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Money. Financial troubles not just personally but with our family as well. It is quite the obstacle but there’s no way in hell we plan on not getting to where we are gonna be.

Learning social media is a big one because none of us like social media but we understand it is the CORE and a major KEY factor in getting exposure for any business. So learning the algorithm is challenging but we learn every day.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a Service Assistant at an Ice Cream Shop right now. I just got a 2nd job as a server to cover some more of my/my family’s expenses. I specialize in getting everything done efficiently and at its earliest fashion so that I could leave work on what matters most. I’m most proud of how naturally quick and easy I moved up in any workplace I have ever worked at without necessarily working towards the position. It lands naturally through my work ethic. What sets me apart from the others is belief and drive. Most people I meet at work prefer to stay there. They have no drive and think this job is all life has to offer them. I strongly disagree and it’s hard to connect with people with that mentality. So what sets me apart from others is my mentality. And hunger. As well as confidence which is something I believe should be more common in people. I plan to show people. I’m going to show the world.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
Back to business discussion, me and my brothers work extremely well together we have developed life-changing habits in order to feed our business. We have consistent meetings and are constantly looking for like-minded people to bring aboard and help bring the vision to life.
