Today we’d like to introduce you to Mariya Aurya El.

Hi Mariya Aurya, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My journey as a Style Cosmologist started at my old shop in Harlem in the days when I was reading people’s Auras and designing them custom fashion based on their energetic needs. During this time, I observed how heavily certain quantum entanglements weigh in one’s personal energy field or light body, including by not limited to: inherited trauma and beliefs from one’s family system, systemic oppression, secrets, and emotional abuse. I noticed that many of my clients were utilizing fashion to cloak their chaotic Auras, as opposed to using fashion as a tool to compliment and illuminate their most authentic essence. This realization was how the Style Cosmology: Inner Space Journey was conceived. Style Cosmology is a quantum makeover system that ensures you feel good on a soul level, so you always look good no matter that you wear. Through my own personal inner space journey to heal my light body from emotional abuse by addressing the Mother wound, I’ve birthed a system to empower you to cultivate a 5D wardrobe accompanied by a powerful presence to activate it. The Style Cosmology: Inner Space Journey, starting January 11th, 2023, is a virtual guided self-initiation that will take you through the four stages of Aura illumination: Diagnostics, Purification, Restoration and Rejuvenation.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It wasn’t a smooth journey at all. During my Inner Space Journey to embody my Style Cosmology, I was forced to do deep shadow work to break toxic generational cycles in my lineage that were keeping me locked in a scapegoat role I had been casted as in childhood by my Mother. I had to find the courage deep within my inner cosmos to face the fragmented soul parts that I had suppressed for so long that needed to be reintegrated into my being. Things like sacred rage, truth and my abandoned inner child. I also had to find the worthiness to embody my Human Design as the Purposeful Fighter! Thankfully during my Inner Space Journey, I was able to connect with a collective Ancestor who desires to support me in embodying this archetype. One of the biggest struggles however, was becoming comfortable and confident being the system disrupter I was always meant to be. Through facing the narcissistic Family System I was raised in, through Family Constellation work, I was able to reprogram myself and re-cast my role in life from being the ‘scapegoat’ to being ‘The Goat’. During my Style Cosmology: Inner Space Journey, I have learned: as long as I keep my light body light, I’ll be able to float like a butterfly above the sea of chaos churning within the collective consciousness and sting like a bee as I dismantle systems of oppression with my soul tribe.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a Style Cosmologist and certified Family Constellations Facilitator. Similar to a traditional Cosmologist, I study the theories about the creation and development of the universe. As a STYLE Cosmologist, I study your inner universe, or your origin story, to best provide the energy healing and cosmic styling advice needed to illuminate your most authentic essence.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ Being a 1/4 Splenic Projector, I am a master at investigating and identifying the quantum entanglements that cannot be seen but can be felt. Growing up, I used to hate that I could feel other people’s emotions. After over a decade of healing myself and learning to trust my intuition, I’ve made a career out of feeling other people’s emotions and helping them to feel good again.

As a Style Cosmologist, I wear many hats (only the most stylish ones of course). I’m a heart chakra locksmith of sorts, helping myself and others regain access to their heart space and switch their emotions back on from do not disturb. ​​​​​​I’m also a midwife of consciousness. A midwife does not BIRTH the child for the mother, rather she creates the appropriate environment ​​​​​​​​for the Mother to make the magic happen. I will be there to lovingly guide you before, during and after your rebirth & self-initiation. I am a Root Chakra magician, helping re-tether you to the Earth realm so you can remember you have the right to be here and you belong. What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was like Matilda. I was a highly intuitive, highly psychic child who was scapegoated and largely ignored my entire childhood. I remember watching Matilda as a child and resonating so deeply with Matilda’s experience: spending as much time as she could in the library, hypervigilance, parentification, emotional neglect, and feelings of isolation even at school. I also remember how I would feel at the end of the movie when Matilda’s sweet teacher Ms. Honey adopted her. I desperately wished someone would see me, adopt me, love me and cater to my unique needs as a person.

This never happened though. What did happen was I grew up an went out into the world as early as possible to escape my abusive family situation. The years of hypervigilance, parentification, and emotional neglect had programmed my light body to attract certain experiences into my life. I wasn’t aware that I could run, but I could not hide from the scapegoat role I had been pushed into in childhood. I found myself in relationship after relationship, community after community, job after job that resembled the abuse I had experienced in my childhood. I came to a point when I realized nobody was coming to save me. I prayed to whoever would listen and my higher self, that I refer to as my Noble Indigo, showed up to be the savior I had needed all along. She had been patiently waiting in inner space for me to acknowledge her and give her consent to move mountains on my behalf. My Noble Indigo also supported me in re-parenting and nurturing my inner child so that I could fully step into my power in the now!
