Inspiring Conversations with Ferdi Karagul of Buori

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ferdi Karagul.

Hi Ferdi, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
At first, the team behind Buori only made animal structures as gifts for their family and friends. They did not design them to make money but to serve their thirst to create, allowing them to learn more and enjoy the whole process. “When you pursue something you’d want to do, gaining from it in different ways will come after,” Ferdi added. Their designers certainly didn’t expect that they will go places with what they’ve been coming up with.

Buori’s dedication to their craft earned them a wide client range from celebrities to athletes and many more. Built during the height of the pandemic, they have sold hundreds of models to 36 countries in less than two years. They are also doing custom-based designs hinged on the preferences of their customers. Their competitive edge is producing really big, eye-catching installations complete with lighting setups.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The biggest struggle I have had was creating a market for the unique products we make. There was no established path to follow, and we had to start from scratch. This meant working lots of extra hours and putting in a lot more effort than we had anticipated.

We had to research our target audience and competitors, develop a unique value proposition, and create a marketing strategy that would help us reach our customers. It took a lot of trial and error, and we had to be willing to make adjustments along the way.

But despite the challenges, we persisted, and our hard work paid off. We were able to create a loyal customer base and establish our brand in the market. Looking back, I am proud of what we have accomplished, and it has taught me that perseverance and hard work are essential in achieving success in business.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Buori is a brand that we created from scratch. We specialize in creating unique 3D models using metal as our material. Our products definitely stand out and get a lot of attention due to their unique and eye-catching designs. We are able to do any size sculpture with any colors that our clients would like, and we can bring their ideas to life using metal.

One of the things that set us apart is that we offer custom sculptures. This means that our clients can work with us to create a one-of-a-kind piece that reflects their personal style and vision. We also offer a rental program for events, which is perfect for those who want to add a special touch to their wedding, corporate event, or any other occasion.

Our main niche for our products are artists, athletes, venues, homes, and more. We have worked with a variety of clients, including artists who want to incorporate metal sculptures into their work, athletes who want to showcase their accomplishments, and venues that want to add a unique touch to their space. We take pride in our ability to cater to a wide range of clients and deliver high-quality products that exceed their expectations.
