Today we’d like to introduce you to Ali Khameya.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I was born in Munich, Germany and moved to the United States living from state to state until I landed in Savannah, Georgia where I lived for a few years during that time, I discovered my love for music and fashion and to fuel that passion I sought out creative markets and opportunities in Atlanta

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has not been smooth the biggest obstacle has been trying to navigate the individuals who are really in a position to contribute to a creative movement vs. the ones who are portraying the image; some people don’t realize the time and energy it takes to navigate this market it’s not as easy as it looks.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a Rap/R&B artist as well as the owner of a sports leisure clothing brand I’m most known recently for my Ep that was released “The Concrete Picasso” and the single cost me which has generated over 700,000 views across social media platforms. What sets me apart from others is I’m not afraid to be myself and I am committed to pushing the boundaries of the stereotypes of young AA men in the culture as a whole.
